The Federal Republic of Somalia recognizes Taiwan as an inalienable part of the People's Republic of China, and this position has been a fundamental aspect of Somalia's foreign policy.

Somalia, in line with its commitment to the principles and objectives enshrined in the United Nations Charter, advocates for non-interference in the domestic affairs of all nations. This adherence to the principle of non-interference underscores Somalia’s dedication to fostering global harmony and respect for sovereignty.
