Ambassador Fei Shengchao Attends the Somali Celebration Ceremony for International Civil Aviation Day

On 7 December, H.E. Fei Shengchao, Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, was invited to attend the celebration ceremony for International Civil Aviation Day organized by Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA). H.E Hamza Abdi Barre, Somali Prime Minister, H.E. Fardowsa Osman Egal, Somali Minister of Transport & Civil Aviation, H.E. Ahmed Moallin Hassan, Director General of SCAA, as well as representatives from diplomatic missions and international organizations in Somalia attended the event.

Ambassador Fei delivered congratulations to the SCAA and appreciated Somalia's rapid development and remarkable achievements in the field of civil aviation in recent years. He said that the development of Somali transportation field, especially the aviation industry, will greatly promote Somalia's cooperation with the rest of the world in terms of economic and trade exchanges as well as cultural communications, which not only reflects the resilience of Somalia's economic and social development, but also demonstrates the confidence of the Somali people in peaceful reconstruction. China will continue to support Somalia in peaceful, stable and sustainable development.

After the celebration ceremony, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, Somali Prime Minister, awarded a certificate of honor to Ambassador Fei to express Somalia's gratitude to China for supporting the development of Somali civil aviation industry.
