On August 6, H.E. Ambassador Fei Shengchao was invited to visit the Somali Disaster Management Agency(SoDMA) and met with the Commissioner of SoDMA, Mr. Mahamuud Moallim. The two sides exchanged views on humanitarian assistance, disaster prevention and relief, and capacity building.

After the meeting, H.E. Ambassador Fei Shengchao, accompanied by Mr. Moallim, visited the Somali National Disaster Early Warning Center and attended the handover ceremony held by the SoDMA for new Chinese humanitarian assistance to Somalia.
