On 25 June, H.E. Ambassador FEI Shengchao visited the Somali National Disability Agency (NDA) and attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new offices of the agency. NDA Chairman Mohamed Jama, Somali Minister of Women and Human Rights Development Hon. Khadija M Diriye, Deputy Head of UNSOM Kiki Gbeho and other guests also attended the event.

Ambassador FEI delivered remarks at the ceremony, in which he talked about China’s achievements in the cause of persons with disabilities, China's humanitarian support to Somalia and the promotion of China-Somalia friendship. He said China would continue to work with the Somali people from all walks of life and international partners to support the cause of disabled people in Somalia.

Jama praised the traditional friendship between Somalia and China and Ambassador FEI's care for the Somalis with disabilities. He also thanked China for its solid support in this regard.

Before the ceremony, Ambassador FEI, accompanied by Chairman Jama, visited the newly renovated offices of NDA.
